Our second star is a Sicilian miniature donkey, named Bandit with Attitude. His attitude shows in his performance.
The breed comes from Island of Sicily found at the bottom of Italy.
Donkeys are like horses except they have longer ears, with upright
mane, long shaggy hair and they make a Bray sound. They also have better
digestive system.Sicilian donkeys have white on their stomach, and nose
area. With distinguishing marking of a cross on their back.
There are many Christian legends about the cross on the donkey back.
The story goes that Mary while holding the baby Jesus on the
donkey's back and he wet on the area down the back and across the
shoulders which formed a cross. Because of this, the Donkey carries a
cross on it's back today.
The miniature donkeys is under 36 inches from their wither (the highest point of the Back.) Donkeys make excellent pets, are very smart and strong for their size.
Bandit is also 8 years old male and weights 350 lbs. He was 6 months old when we got him. Bandit and Rowdy are best of friends, they play and fight with each other like teenage children. They eat hay, pasture grass, oats and grains. Eating and sleeping together, keep each other warm on cold nights.
Bandit is the second part of Cutler's Mini Team. An absolute card and performer to the crowd. Bandit is the perfect star and thrives off the attention. He performs better when the crowd is having a rip-roaring time!
